How I think about design
Clarity is a form of trust
Every ambiguous label, every unexplained number, every dead end is a message to the user that the product doesn't understand the stakes. Removing ambiguity is the most underrated design skill.
Edge cases are where design earns its value
Happy paths are easy to design. The meaningful design decisions happen in error states, conflict scenarios, and failure modes — the places where users need help most.
Design systems pay back exponentially
Every consistency problem solved at the component level disappears from every screen simultaneously. The leverage is enormous — and the work is invisible when done right.
